SHIPPING during COVID Pandemic:

While some countries have shut down the sending or receiving of parcels and mail, Canada Post is still doing its best to ensure that packages get through to the rest of the world.

"Unprecedented parcel volumes combined with new safety protocols and pandemic measures in Canada and the U.S.A are creating delays for customers. We have adjusted our delivery standards to better reflect expected delivery times, however service may not be consistent. Some items may be delivered 7 to 10 days beyond published delivery standards. Consumers and business shippers should consider the additional delivery time when making commitments to recipients in the U.S.A."

I mail packages as often as i can as regular mail, with no tracking, and in 10 years have never had a lost one. My shipping prices may seem high to some, BUT the extra is ALWAYS refunded at time of shipping. (For instance, one customer paid 19.00 to have threads shipped to her, but 16.50 of that was refunded!) I mail once a week, and in these times, that is the safest way to ensure all of our safety measures are taken. At this point in time, there are safety protocols being observed which can result in fewer staff handling larger volumes of mail.  Please have patience with me and the posties!

I do my best in my studio as well to package in clean materials, done with clean hands. If you feel unsafe, please leave your packages if at all possible, either outside for a day or two under cover, or wipe down with an appropriate cleaner, taking care not to saturate the package covering.
